The IDS DataBuff (shown opposite) is the latest of the IDS data buoys and is designed as a very low cost solution for monitoring in relatively sheltered coastal seas, lakes and large rivers.

IDS Water Quality Monitoring Systems The parameters measured routinely by our systems include pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity, Chlorophyll , temperature, nutrients and others.

IDS Smart Tracker is a innovative, reliable system for tracking assets. It is used for real-time fleet monitoring, charter boat tracking, vehicle tracking and is also used in our coastal drifters.

The IDS Pumped Monitoring System is an innovative way of sampling water and has significant potential cost savings for instrumentation and maintenance.

The IDS Cabled Observatory is a new product for deployment in coastal, lake or river environemnts in situations where databuoys are not suitable .

At the heart of any monitoring system is the data acquisition and telemetry system which integrates data from multiple instruments, manages power to drive the instruments/sensor and delivers data in real-time to the user. IDS has systems for a very wide variety of applications in harsh environments and our systems are reliable, easy to setup and are competitively priced. IDS Data-Link

All IDS Monitoring solutions with integrated telemetry include a connection to Data-Link which allows data management on the web in real-time and allows secure remote control. Data is viewed in data tables, on maps or on graphs such as the live data below.

This LIVE data graph above compares water temperature data from 3 different stations on a river over the the last 14 days. The red line shows temperature near the river source in the mountains, the green line shows temperature in a lake approximately 30KM downstream and the blue line shows data a further 15Km downstream just before the river becomes an estuary.  Click here to see this data in more detail.

Data-Link features include real-time data validation, alarm management, access management, data annotation and editing and exporting.  It also has powerful mobile device interface. IDS Data-Link is a low cost managed service with
